The greater Bridgeport area is under a Winter Storm Warning from 1 a.m. Thursday to 1 a.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

The city's Emergency Operation Center (EOC) will continue to monitor forecast updates. Current forecasts from the National Weather Service predict that Bridgeport will receive a total of 5 to 9 inches of snow that will begin to fall sometime around 1 a.m. Thursday.
